This definitely wasn’t what fans wanted. The author doesn’t have much experience and it shows. The new characters weren’t interesting and the characters you want to read about (like the Sanderson sisters) hardly appear. Sometimes leaving the original is best. A sequel right after the first would have been doable, but it's too late now. Witches don't age when they're dead. I have not even read the first book. I have seen maybe 5 minutes of the movie while channel surfing. Guess I am missing something good? That is the best movie literally ever made from Disney sorry guys but you can’t argue with that movie.
